The great adventure started in the heart of Paris, in the artisan area of the 11th arrondissement where Steaven Richard opened his first workshop and forge.

He discovered artistic lamination – with its new and original texturing possibilities – when producing the textured metal parquet floor commissioned by Karl Lagerfeld for the studio at Chanel. Influenced by the fashion world, Parisian architecture and cabinetry traditions, the Zhâ Collection was born.

Textured metal from Steaven Richard is the signature of an innovative artisan workshop skilfully integrating contemporary design. The pendant lights, lamps and patinated tables and the brass, copper and silver nickel cladded consoles and cabinets are inimitable. Artistic lamination was patented in 2017.
